ChRiStMaS ReCaP.....

December was full of fun for us. We had Ally's 2nd birthday and many family parties throughout the month right up until Christmas. This year Ally was old enough to really enjoy all the parties because she knew that she would get presents and get to play with her cousins.

She also became obsessed with "snowman". I have no idea how many times we watched Frosty the Snowman and sang the song!!

Christmas Eve we went to my Grandma's house and had our traditional ham, rolls, and yummy potatoes. When we got home Ally was so excited that we told her that she could open a present, but was very disappointed when it was only jammies, and immediately wanted to open another one.

Christmas day was a beautiful snowy day, it has been a while since we have actually had a white christmas. Jordan made us all get up at 5:00 A.M. Ally jumped out of bed the minute that we told her that Santa had come and left her toys. I have to say that it took a long time to open all the gifts since we had to stop and play with all of them as they were opened. The clothes boxes were the only ones that were opened and immediately thrown into the pile! Gracie was such a trooper, she stayed awake as long as she could and then just couldn't do it anymore, so she slept by the Christmas tree most of the morning while Ally helped open her presents.

After all the morning excitement was over Jordan had to shovel the sidewalk and Ally went out to help him by playing in the snow. She thought that it was fantastic to fall down in the snow and to throw it at her dad.

All in all we had a great holiday and hope that the new year is great!
